Rubber SUB Mounts for Scotts Steering Stabilizers offers the ultimate in vibration dampening and square edge absorption.
By using eight Poly-Urethane bushings isolating the handlebars from the triple clamp you dramatically reduce arm pump and fatigue. The BRP Rubber SUB Mount comes complete with two sets of bushings (Red) Medium Density and (Blue) Soft Density so you can fine tune the amount of dampening to your riding preference.
The BRP Rubber SUB Mount has become the most popular and sought after mounting solution for Scotts Steering Stabilizers. This mounting option allows the rider to tuck their Scotts Steering Stabilizer under the bars which protects the stabilizer bust most of all protects the rider from hitting the stabilizer with their face or body.
The SUB Mount raises the bars approximately 23mm over stock which helps improve the ergonomics for taller riders. For those riders that prefer a lower bar position, we offer a
lower bend handlebar
that compensate for the increased height of the SUB Mount which puts the bar height back down to stock height.
The BRP Rubber SUB Mount bolts directly to the stock triple clamp. If you already have a Scotts Steering Stabilizer you will just need to reverse the Link Arm as shown in the image below. If you already have a Scotts Steering Stabilizer you can simply purchase a Mounting Kit that includes the Rubber SUB Mount (which includes bar mounts) and a Frame Bracket.
Link Arm Pullers
are sold separately if you need to remove and reverse your Link Arm.
DO NOT
use a screwdriver or try to pry Link Arm off your Scotts Stabilizer, you will cause major and costly damage to your Scotts Steering Stabilizer.
